Description

An enriching summer art experience for students who are identified Gifted and Talented in Visual Arts.  Students will increase their skills while supporting the curriculum standards for visual arts. Students will experiment with a variety of mediums and techniques as they explore creating in an open space. Students will increase awareness of the impact art has on the environment as they practice being a citizen artist. Students will attend multiple field experiences, create artworks, and participate in a culminating exhibit of work.

Participants must currently be in grades 6 to 10.
